Cultivating Change on the Other Side of the Game

CWALL FOUNDATION PILOT SET TO LAUNCH THIS SPRING 2024!

CWALL Foundation Launches Transferrable Skill Program to Empower Prince George’s County Youth Largo, Maryland – March 13, 2024 – The CWALL Foundation, dedicated to addressing the imbalance in athletic and life skills programs for students, is proud to announce the launch of its Transferrable Skill Program. With a mission to cultivate students and athletes into team and community builders, effective communicators, and the future leaders of tomorrow, CWALL is pioneering a new approach to youth
development.

"Athleticism is a gateway to building essential life skills that extend far beyond the sports arena. Through our partnership with Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, Riverdale Elementary School, STEAM Your Dream, and Head to Speech, we are excited to offer students a holistic approach to personal and professional development," said Candi Waller, Founder and CEO of CWALL Foundation.

The Transferrable Skill Program, a five-week curriculum tailored to equip students with transferable skills vital for success in adulthood, covers various aspects including collaboration, communication, conflict management, financial literacy, social media responsibility, and team building. CWALL Foundation and its partners seek to empower students to become future leaders and community builders by integrating these critical skills into athletic and extracurricular activities.

"Our collaboration with Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, Riverdale Elementary School, STEAM Your Dream, and Head to Speech underscores our shared vision of providing comprehensive support to students as they navigate their educational and athletic journeys," added Candi Waller.

To mark the launch of the Transferrable Skill Program and garner support for its expansion, CWALL Foundation invites the community to attend its fundraiser event on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Top Golf in Oxon Hill. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations directly contribute to enriching the experiences of students participating in the program.

"We are grateful for the support of our partners and the community at large in championing the development of our youth. Together, we can empower students to realize their full potential and become catalysts for positive change," expressed Candi Waller.
